Stompede parade Saturday; rodeo and wagons start Wednesday

It’s Stompede time again.

Festivities will get underway Saturday with the Stompede Parade.

It will start from Hillside School at noon, then travel south on 95 Street and west on 100 Avenue through downtown before ending at Northwestern Polytechnic.

The Bustout BBQ starts at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28, at the Bonnett’s Energy Centre.

The rodeo starts on Wednesday, May 29 with the rodeo slack at noon.

The main performances at the rodeo will start at 1 p.m. daily from Thursday, May 30, through Sunday, June 2.

The wagons go every evening from Wednesday, May 29, through Sunday, June 2. The grand entry starts at 5 p.m. on all five evenings.

The Stompede Market opens at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 30. This is where the works of the 2024 Art Competition finalists will be shown.

The midway will open on Thursday, May 30, at 3 p.m.
