Highway 43 reopened following a serious collision

Grande Prairie RCMP has provided an update on the Highway 43 vehicle collision from last night. (Tuesday, May 28)

Mounties want to inform the public the highway has reopened and traffic is back to its normal flow.

The investigation is still ongoing. RCMP say preliminary information suggests a pickup truck rear-ended a construction roller.

Both the driver and passenger of the pick-up were taken to the hospital in critical condition, while the driver of the roller was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

As the investigation is still ongoing, more updates may be released if new information becomes available.
