UPDATE May 31: The wildfire hazard in the High Level Forest Area is now moderate for parts of the area.

With the ongoing wildfire danger in the High Level Forest Area, all areas west of Highway 35 have a wildfire danger level of very high.

A fire advisory is also now in effect for the entire High Level Forest Area. The High Level Forest Area located east of Highway 35 is still listed at a low wildfire danger level.

The very high rating for west of Highway 35 is credited to eleven fires burning in the area.
