Ridgevalley student wins provincial art contest

A student at Ridgevalley School has won a provincial art contest promoting safety around school buses.

Peace Wapiti Public School Division is congratulating Grade 5 student Brynley Dickenson for winning the Student Transportation Association of Alberta’s School Bus Safety Week art contest by designing a poster to showcase the theme The Bus Rules.

PWPSD Trustee Millie Turner says she is thrilled Brynley’s hard work and dedication was recognized with the win.

For winning the contest, Dickenson’s poster will be displayed at her school, her class will receive $150, and she gets a gift card for Indigo.

She is the first Ridgevalley Student to win the annual contest.
