United Way Alberta Northwest welcomes new Executive Director

Jun 5, 2024 | 1:30 PM

United Way Alberta Northwest has a new Executive Director, Ken Loudon.

Loudon was welcomed to the new role by the former Executive Director Tracy Zuk, and will serve as her replacement.

Loudon, who has lived in Grande Prairie for 30 years, will now bring his experience in the non-profit sector to United Way; which includes time as the president of the Swan City Rotary Club, and serving on the board of the Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce.

He was also the recipient of the Clem E. Collins Outstanding Contribution Award, and in 2023 he received the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal.

According to United Way Alberta Northwest, Loudon has a “deep understanding of the community and United Way,” along with a “deep connection to the region.”

In the release, the United Way said they look forward to Ken leading their team in its efforts to support local and regional community partners and programs.
