Cranberry Lake Rodeo, along with lacrosse, baseball, football and rugby games this weekend

Cranberry Lake Rodeo

The 42nd Cranberry Lake Rodeo goes Friday through Sunday at the grounds near DeBolt.

The All-Pro chuckwagons all three nights starting at 7 p.m.

The Ranch Rodeo is set for Friday starting at 6 p.m.

The local rodeo starts at 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, with the Wildrose Rodeo Association performances starting at 3 p.m. Saturday.

Lacrosse

The Thrashers lacrosse teams will host Fort St. John Saturday at the Wembley Area.

The U9 games start at 10:30 and 1:30, U11 at 11:30 and 2:30, U13 at 12:30 and 3:30.

Wheatbelt Baseball League

There is one game in the Wheatbelt Baseball League Friday, Rycroft and Sexsmith play in Spirit River. The game will start at 7:15 p.m.

Saturday, the County Brewers are in Peace River for a noon start time, then in Grimshaw for a 3 p.m. start.

Sunday, Sexsmith in High Prairie starts at 8 p.m.

Reds Baseball

The 13U AA Reds Team Wray will host the Parkland Twins Saturday at noon. Edmonton Padres play Bonnyville at 3 p.m., then the Padres play the Twins at 6 p.m. also at Evergreen Park. Sunday, the Reds play Bonnyville at 9 a.m. Bonnyville and Parkland meet at noon, and the Reds play the Padres at 3 p.m. Those games are also at Evergreen Park.

The 13U Reds AA Team Aldred is in Drayton Valley for games against Barrhead at noon on Saturday, Drayton Valley at 9 a.m. Sunday and Parkland at 3 Sunday afternoon.

The U18 Reds AA team is in St. Albert for a game Saturday at noon against Parkland and Sunday at 9 a.m. against St. Albert and noon versus the Edmonton Padres.

Football

In the Alberta Football League, The Peace Country Cowboys visit the Calgary Wolfpack Saturday.

Kick-off will be at 7 p.m.

The Cowboys are 0-2 so far this season. The Wolfpack is 0-3.

Rugby

The Grande Prairie Sirens are in Edmonton Saturday to play the Clanswomen. Game time is 1 p.m.

The Centaurs visit St. Albert on Saturday. That game starts at 3 p.m.
