Rainfall pace for this June behind last year

There were 4.4 millimetres of rain Monday in Grande Prairie, according to Environment Canada’s Daily Data records.

That brings the total for June to 16.9 millimetres.

That is well behind last year’s pace as there had been 44.9 millimetres by the same time in June of 2023.

There were 21.7 millimetres by the same time in June of 2022.

There had been nine millimetres by the same time in June of 2021, but the last five days of June that year saw Grande Prairie get 45.7 millimetres of rain.
