NWP Board of Governors Welcomes New Appointees

Northwestern Polytechnic is welcoming new and returning appointees to their Board of Governors.

Dr. Tyler May and Mr. Mike McMann, along with returning Ms. Heather Kerschbaumer were appointed to the board by a Government of Alberta Order in Council June 20.

Dr. May is a family physician from Manning, McMann is the superintendent for Fort Vermillion School Division, and Kerschbaumer is a business owner and has been a member of the board since 2021.

The three appointees will serve a three-year term on the board as they manage and guide the Polytechnic as per the Post-secondary Learning Act.

NWP President and CEO Dr. Vanessa Sheane says the appointees will assist NWP as they focus on engaging their communities, growing enrolment, and advancing education in the region.
