Traffic disruptions at 116 Avenue and 102 Street intersection for road work

The City of Grande Prairie will be conducting road work at the 116 Avenue and 102 Street intersection starting Thursday, July 4.
Crews will start on the north side of the installation to install a new concrete storm vault before moving to the south side to connect pipes and install an overflow pipe.
During this time, no left turns will be allowed from 116 Ave onto 102 St, the intersection will be closed to through traffic on 102 St, and Route 8 of the public transit system will undergo bus stop relocations.
The work is expected to take two to three weeks, dependent on the weather.
