AHS welcoming new ophthalmologist to Grande Prairie

A new ophthalmologist is now practising in Grande Prairie.

Alberta Health Services has announced Dr. Ruchi Saxena is working out of the Crystal-Clear Eye Care Clinic as well as the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital.

Raised in Toronto, Dr. Saxena completed her medical training in the Netherlands before moving back to Canada with her husband and three children after nearly 30 years away.

Ophthalmologists specialize in diagnosing and treating eye-related conditions.

Dr. Saxena is now the fourth ophthalmologist practising in Grande Prairie.
