Environment Canada has issued an Air Quality Advisory for the Grande Prairie area due to widespread wildfire smoke.

While the smoke is present, air quality is poor and visibility is limited.

While smoke particulates pose a health risk to everyone regardless of age or health, pregnant people, seniors, and young children in particular, are advised to avoid strenuous activities outdoors.

When indoors, keep windows and doors closed as much as possible and prioritize keeping cool.
