Calgary Stampede update: Culling advances to Showdown Sunday

Fort St. John steer wrestler Stephen Culling has qualified for Showdown Sunday at the Calgary Stampede rodeo.

Culling finished fourth in Pool A after times of 7.3 seconds on Friday, 3.9 on Saturday and 5.9 on Sunday.

Culling’s time on Saturday was the fastest of the day.

Fort St. John bull rider Jake Gardner was bucked off in all three of his Pool A rides.

Wagons

In the Rangeland Derby chuckwagons, Jason Glass, Rae Croteau Jr., Chad Fike and Chanse Vigen are the top four wagons after three nights of racing.

Glass, Croteau Jr., Fike and Kris Molle had the four fastest times Sunday night.

The Rangeland Derby continues through Sunday, July 14.
