2024 National Bowling Championship recap

The 2024 Bowling National Championship wrapped up in Winnipeg on Friday, July 5.

Team Alberta which was represented by two Grande Prairie locals, David Bridges and Jenny Nichol, finished third overall in the entire tournament.

Individually, Bridge’s Men’s team placed fifth in their division while he took home sixth in Canada for the Men’s teaching singles division.

Nichol’s teaching women’s team also had a great showing, taking home second, coming up just six points behind of Manitoba for the national title.

Nichol herself finished the tournament with +148, coming in third for all the ladies across Canada competing in the Women’s Teaching division, despite most having a few years of experience on Nichol.
