Fire Advisory issued by City of Grande Prairie

A fire advisory has been ordered by the City of Grande Prairie.

As of 12:00 PM Tuesday July 9, fire permits for open burning and fireworks will not be issued, and existing burning permits are suspended. New fire pit permits will be issued on a case-by-case basis, for light burning only.

The fire advisory will remain in effect until conditions improve. Any burning without a valid fire permit, other than campfires, is prohibited.
