Town of Peace River launching Pilot Project with Apex Security

The Town of Peace River is launching a new pilot project with Apex Security to enhance the safety of the community.
$240,000 is being invested into the three-month program to bolster safety with increased patrols, surveillance, and assistance for business owners with low-level social disorder and public disturbances.
Peace River Council will be closely monitoring the impact and effectiveness of the program and will perform a review of the services following its conclusion.
Residents and stakeholders are invited to provide feedback throughout the duration of the pilot to help the Town make an informed decision about the future of public safety in the community.
