Benefit for Clairmont family taking place Saturday

A benefit dinner and dance is being held Saturday, July 20 at the Clairmont Community Hall to help the family of a little boy who died in a crash at Highway 43 and Highway 43X on July 6.
Organizers say they have sold 35 tickets so far and they want to sell-out.
Tickets are $30 each. Anyone who wants to go is asked to call Cindy at 780-832-8939 or Lori at 780-933-3502. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
The evening will also include a silent auction. Quilts, preserves, small appliances, sports equipment, and memorabilia have all been donated for this auction. The people putting the benefit say donations for the silent auction are worth $18,000.
