Fairview ED without a doctor for 48 hours

The Fairview Health Complex Emergency Department will be without an onsite physician for 48 hours.

Starting on Monday, July 22, at 7 a.m., until Wednesday, July 24 at 7 a.m., no doctor will be in the ED, but residents can still call 911, as EMS will be rerouting calls.

Nursing staff will also remain on-site at the Fairview Health Complex to perform urgent triage, assessments and referrals.

AHS says this disruption could be cancelled if coverage is found.
