City of Grande Prairie to begin tree replacement work on 100 Avenue

Tree replacement work along 100 Avenue is set to begin today, July 25 in Grande Prairie.

City contractors, in accordance with the Downtown Rehabilitation and Streetscapes Project, will begin replacing unhealthy trees at 102 Street.

The work is set to last five to seven days, progressing eastward towards 98 Street, with additional work to be carried out in the planter beds on 100 Avenue.

Minimal traffic interruptions are expected, but drivers are asked to follow any posted signage in the work areas.
