Heritage Day celebrations at Grande Prairie Museum Village

The City of Grande Prairie is celebrating Heritage Day Saturday with a series of free activities at the Grande Prairie Museum’s Heritage Village.

Heritage Day will be highlighting local history and diverse cultures through food, art, and interactive activities like; community and cultural booths, carnival games, a traditional drumming circle performance, and food trucks serving cultural dishes.

Mayor Jackie Clayton says Heritage Day is an opportunity for the community to come together and honour the culture of the region and beyond.

Heritage Day runs at the Grande Prairie Museum Saturday, August 3, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
