Grande Prairie Museum hosts Heritage Day festivities

The City of Grande Prairie celebrated Heritage Day with free activities at the Grande Prairie Museum’s Heritage Village Saturday, August 3.

Attractions at the museum included a petting zoom, carnival games and demonstrations on blacksmithing and rope making, along with a collection of booths showcasing the diverse culture of Grande Prairie.

Mayor Jackie Clayton says Heritage Day is an opportunity for the community to come together and honour the culture of the region and beyond.
