Municipal District of Fairview reminding residents Fire Ban still in place

The Municipal District of Fairview is reminding residents and visitors that a Fire Ban is still in place.
While communities like Grande Prairie and Saddle Hills have downgraded to a Fire Restriction, Fairview remains under a Ban as conditions are still very dry despite recent precipitation.
Under the ban, all open flames fires are banned, as are burn barrels, fireworks, and fires using charcoal briquettes.
The Town of Fairview and Berwyn Village also remain under a Fire Ban.
