Alberta RCMP Corporal provides information on weekend plane crash

The EverythingGP Newsroom connected with Alberta RCMP Corporal Troy Savinkoff to get information on a ultra light plane crash that took place on Monday, August 6 in the County of Grande Prairie.

Mounties say the downed plane was located around 7 p.m., but no pilot was found in the area following an extensive search.

Corporal Savinkoff says as of right now, RCMP are investigating, as the plane was reported stolen at the time it went down.

Corporal Savinkoff added, that at this time, residents should not be concerned about this becoming a trend, as this is the first time he has seen an incident like this in all his years of service.
