RCMP charge four youth with St. Mary school vandalism

Beaverlodge RCMP are thanking the public for their assistance with locating suspects after a significant act of vandalism at St. Mary Catholic School.

Four youths, aged 12 to 15 have been charged with mischief – damage to property over $5,000, mischief -damage to property under $5,000, and mischief – obstruct enjoyment to property.

On July 31 over 70 windows were broken at St. Mary’s resulting in estimated damage of over $100,000.

All four youth were released with conditions and are schedule to appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on September 25.
