Fairview Health Complex ED expecting a 48-hour disruption

The Fairview Health Complex Emergency Department will be without an onsite physician for 48 hours starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, August 12.

During the disruption, nursing staff will remain onsite to perform urgent triage and referrals while EMS will reroute calls to neighbouring facilities.

The ED is expected to reopen at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, August 14, however, it could open sooner if coverage is found.
