Sentencing dates set for Coutts protesters Carbert and Olienick

LETHBRIDGE, Alta. – Two men convicted of mischief at Coutts (KOOTS), Alberta, border blockade won’t have to wait long before they learn their sentences.
On August 2nd, a jury found Anthony Olienick (OH’-luh-nick) and Chris Carbert (CAR’-burt) guilty of possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Olienick was also convicted of possessing a pipe bomb.
But the two were acquitted of the more serious charge of conspiring to murder police officers.
