Air quality advisory in effect for the Peace region

Environment Canada has put an air quality advisory in effect for the Peace Region.
They credit local smoke to wildfires and says air quality and visibility can fluctuate from hour to hour.
Environment Canada recommends people more likely to be affected by smoking, like pregnant women, seniors and smokers should avoid strenuous outdoor activity.
Currently, the air health quality index sits at 6, as of 4 p.m.
