Grande Prairie RCMP CRT traffic stop leads to an arrest
A Beaverlodge resident has been arrested by Grande Prairie RCMP for multiple charges related to drug trafficking.
On August 7, Grande Prairie RCMP’s Crime Reduction Team observed a truck that had previously parked in multiple stalls, including a disability parking stall and conducted a traffic stop.
During the stop, officer observed several controlled substances including 544 grams of methamphetamine, 25 grams of cocaine, various items consistent with drug trafficking and weapons, including a stun gun.
As a result of the investigation, 32-year-old Callie Evenson has been charged with six charges including Possession for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, and two counts of failure to comply with a release order condition.
