Grande Prairie countertenor performing at Trinity Luther Church Aug. 27
A Grande Prairie local is holding a community appreciation and fundraiser performance this evening.
Kelan Lynch will be performing at Trinity Luther Church to celebrate his community and raise funds to offset his tuition costs before he attends his Guildhall Artists Master’s program in London, UK next month.
Lynch was a member of the Grande Prairie Boys’ Choir for over 10 years and has a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Alberta.
Lynch is a countertenor, one of the rarest of all voice types, and he will be accompanied by University of Alberta Opera Workshop instructor Shannon Hiebert on piano, tenor Matthew Dalen, and Grande Prairie opera founder Chelsea Pall.
