The City of Grande Prairie is set to begin its Storm Outfall and 106 Avenue Rehabilitation project next week.

Starting Tuesday, City contractors will begin working to enhance the infrastructure and improve storm system functionality at Muskoseepi Park east of the spillway structure.

Key activities of the project include replacing the existing storm outfall, installing new storm lines, replacing sanitary and water infrastructure, repaving 106 Ave, and repairing paths and landscaping

While the work is ongoing their will be minor detours on park trails, pedestrian and vehicle access on 106 Ave will be limited and temporary disruption to water and sanitary service may occur for some residents in the project area.
