Update: Highway 2 re-opens following motorcycle collision in Saddle Hills area

Update on September 1, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. – Mounties with the Grande Prairie detachment say the collision scene has been cleared and traffic flow has resumed to normal.

Investigation of the collision is ongoing and the driver of the motorcycle has been transported to hospital in serious, but stable condition.

Grande Prairie RCMP say a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle has occurred near Township Road 750 in the County of Grande Prairie.

Mounties are advising motorists that are travelling in the area to expect delays and consider taking an alternate route.
