City of Grande Prairie to celebrate Welcoming Week 2024 September 13-22

The City of Grande Prairie is gearing up for Welcoming Week celebrations to begin Friday September 13.
The event, organized by the city’s Local Immigration Partnership aims to connect new arrivals with long-standing residents to foster a sense of belonging and highlight the services offering by the city.
Organizers say this year’s Welcoming Week theme isn “We’re All In’ is a call for individuals and groups alike to come together in celebrating the strengths, differences and diverse perspectives of our community.
Welcoming Week goes from September 13 to 22.
