Wednesday sports: Curling registration, NWJHL exhibition game

The Grande Prairie Curling Centre says online registration is now open.

In person registration will take place Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. both days at the rink.

Adult leagues start the week of September 30.

There is one Northwest Junior Hockey League exhibition game Wednesday.

The County of Grande Prairie Wheat Kings will be in Beaverlodge.

The game will start at 8:00 p.m.

The Blades are 2-0 so far in exhibition play, including a 2-1 win over the Wheat Kings on September 7.

The Wheat Kings have two wins in their three exhibition games.
