City of Grande Prairie 2024 road rehabilitation project moving on to 116 Avenue and 102 Street

The City of Grande Prairie is moving onto the next part of its 2024 road rehabilitation project.

Starting Thursday, September 12, construction work will be taking place on 116 Avenue westbound between 92 Street and Lakeland Drive and 88 Street and 92 Street.

Work will begin on 102 Street between 124 Avenue and 132 Avenue is expected to start Monday.

Milling old asphalt, new paving, lines and repairs to storm sewer lines will all be done.

The city says that while the work is ongoing, motorists should expect temporary lane closures, and potential transit delays.
