County of Grande Prairie welcomes 15 new firefighters

The County of Grande Prairie is welcoming the newest recruits to the County Regional Fire Service.

Fifteen men and women from Hythe, Beaverlodge, Wembley, Teepee Creek, Sexsmith and Bezanzon stations have begun diving into fire essentials and getting acquainted with the tools and gear.

The county is planning further updates on the recruit’s training, which officially began Saturday September 7.
