The Grande Prairie Storm dropped a 3-2 decision in a shootout to the Wolverines Saturday night in Whitecourt.
Zachary Wilson and Max Leduc scored for Grande Prairie. Nicholas Jones made 25 saves in the Storm net.
The Storm beat Whitecourt 3-0 Friday night in Grande Prairie in the season opener for both squads.
A win and shootout loss means the Storm earned three points in the standings. That leaves Grande Prairie second in the North Division, one point behind Fort McMurray. The Oil Barons opened the season with two wins. They beat Lloydminster 6-1 Saturday and 3-2 Friday.
