Fort Vermillion RCMP is investigating a firearms offence from Thursday, September 12.

Mounties got a report about a vehicle being shot at in the Boyer area and went to investigate with assistance from members of the RCMP Emergency Response Team.

Upon arrival, Officers found some bales of hay were lit on fire in what is suspected to be an act of arson.

What Mounties call “numerous police resources” then responded to the Boyer area, A search warrant was authorized and executed at the residence where the property owner was shot at.
