Grande Prairie Tax Department temporarily reducing hours

The City of Grande Prairie announced its tax department will experience a “brief closure” every day until the end of the week, starting on Wednesday, September 25.
From 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., residents won’t be able to access the department desk, however, online tax services will still be available on the City’s website.
The City provided no reasoning for the closure but did ask anyone wanting to use the in-person tax services, to plan their visit around the closure.
Normal hours of operation will resume on Tuesday, October 1.
