Traffic and access changes made while 84 Ave, and 116 St. rehabilitation project continues

Traffic and access changes related to the City of Grande Prairie’s rehabilitation work on 84 Avenue and 116 Street went into effect Wednesday, September 27.

While the work is ongoing, the intersection between both roadways is now closed, eastbound truck traffic on 84 Avenue and southbound traffic on 116 Street is closed, and westbound local access to Kensington on 84 Avenue will be re-routed.

The City appreciates the community’s patience and says the project is still on track for completion by the end of October.
