Grimshaw Regional Healthcare Attraction & Retention Committee offers scholarship

A new scholarship designed to “encourage” healthcare professionals ‘to live and work in the Grimshaw region is now accepting applications.

The Grimshaw Regional Healthcare Attraction and Retention Committee created the $2,000 scholarship. Grade 12 students already enrolled in a health-related program or adults looking to start a healthcare career are welcome to apply.

Interested applicants will need to meet a few requirements:

• Complete the Scholarship Application Form
• Provide proof of acceptance into a health or medical-related program
• Submit a 500-700 word essay
• Reside in the County of Northern Lights, Town of Grimshaw, MD of Peace 135, or Village of Berwyn
