Another Peace region resident claims the LIGHTING LOTTO prize

A Peace River resident is now just $219,994.10 richer after playing the new LIGHTING LOTTO.

Darryl Calliou told AGLC, “I heard about a win in High Prairie, and thought I’d give it a shot!”

He then visited the London Drugs on 170 Street in Edmonton and after his first try, Calliou watched the screen and “couldn’t believe it.”

Calliou said his girlfriend was the first person he told. At this time, he isn’t sure what he will spend it on, saying “We’ll pay some bills and go from there I guess.”

He now joins five other Albertans who have claimed the LIGHTING LOTTO prize since the game started in April.
