Peace Wapiti Public School Division has officially opened the new Harry Balfour School.
On Friday, September 27, students, staff, families and guests attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion.
PWPSD Board Vice-Chair Blaine Riding says the event was not only a celebration of the new school, but also a recognition of all the hard work and dedication that went into the project.
The event included speeches from Grande Prairie-Wapiti MLA Ron Wiebe, Grande Prairie-Mackenzie MP Chris Warkentin, and County of Grande Prairie Reeve Bob Marshall.
