Fairview Health Complex emergency department to be without an on-site physician Monday Sept. 30

The Fairview Health Complex emergency department will be without an on-site physician for several days next week.

Due to an inability to secure physician coverage, there will be no on-site physician from 7:00 a.m. Monday to 7:00 a.m Tuesday.

Later closures are expected Wednesday and Friday.

If patients call 911 with a medical emergency, EMS remains available to transport them to surrounding health care facilities.

If more coverage is found these disruptions may be cancelled.
