Saddle Hills County Ward 5 councillor resigns

Saddle Hills County Ward 5 Councillor Willis Fitzsimmons has resigned.
Fitzsimmons has resigned as he as his wife have sold their home in the county and will no longer be residing in the area.
County Reeve Alvin Hubert says Fitzsimmons has been a dedicated councillor and it is thanks to him that fiber optic internet is being brought to rural residents.
Fitzsimmons moved to the Blueberry Mountain area in 1976 and served on council from 1992-1995 and then from 2013 until last week.
