Fairview ED undergoes another disruption

The Fairview Health Complex emergency department is experiencing another disruption.

No doctor will be in the emergency department from 7 a.m. on Monday, October 7 until 7 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9.

During the 48-hour closure, nursing staff will provide triage and assessments, while EMS is rerouting calls to nearby facilities.

AHS says this disruption could be cancelled if coverage is found.
