Another 48-closure taking place at the Fairview ED

The fifth Fairview Health Complex Emergency Department disruption in two weeks is set to get underway on Thursday, October 10,

From 7 a.m. Thursday until 7 a.m. Saturday, October 12 , no doctor will be in the ED.

AHS says during the 48-hour disruption, nursing staff will be providing urgent triage and assessments, while EMS reroutes calls to nearby facilities.

AHS adds this disruption could be cancelled if coverage is found.
