By-election to be held for Ward 5 in Saddle Hills County

Saddle Hills County Council has announced a by-election to fill the vacant Ward 5 Council position.

The seat was recently vacated following the resignation of Councillor Willis Fitzsimmons.

To be eligible for nomination, candidates must have resided in Ward 5 for at least six months prior to nomination day, be 18-years-old or older, and be a Canadian citizen.

Nominations close October 28, if an election is required it will be held in late November.
