Palaeo Talk with Dr. Bamforth planned for this week

Oct 22, 2024 | 7:00 AM

An “exclusive” members-only event over a million years in the making, is taking place this week at the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum.

PJCDM membership holders are invited to a Palaeo Talk on Wednesday, October 23, with the museum’s newest fossil; a Pachyrhinosaurus skull named Big Sam, and the scientist who discovered it, Dr. Emily Bamforth.

The talk will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will be the first time the public sees Big Sam with its field jacket cover removed.

Anyone interested in attending but isn’t a member, can pick up a membership from the Museum’s front desk for $30 per person or $90 for a family.
