Nov 4, 2024 | 12:00 PM

Grande Prairie RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating suspects involved in an assault investigation that occurred on Halloween night.

At 10:00 p.m., Mounties were called to the area of Kateri Drive after a female victim was struck in the face with force from an egg thrown at her as she was handing out candy to children.

Witnesses described the egg being thrown from a pickup truck, possibly blue or beige in color.

The woman was taken to hospital and later released with non-life-threatening injuries to her face.

RCMP are seeking anyone that may have witnessed the incident or has dash camera or home security footage captured October 31 between 9:40 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. around Kateri Drive between 74 Avenue and 68 Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to contact either their local RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers.
