County of Grande Prairie updating Livestock Emergency Response Plan

The County of Grande Prairie is updating it’s Livestock Emergency Response Plan.
Starting this week, the county will be reaching out to residents to update their registration information to ensure the county knows the types, numbers, and locations of livestock across the county.
The plan was developed to meet the needs of residents in the event of a disaster like wildfires or floods and to help reduce risk to both people and their animals.
