Big football day Saturday in Grande Prairie

Saturday will be a big day for football in Grande Prairie.

CKC Field will host three provincial games.

St. Joe’s will play Edmonton’s Austin O’Brien in a Tier 4 high school northern semi-final. Kick-off will be at 11:00 a.m.

That will be followed by Sexsmith playing St. Paul in a Tier 3 high school northern semi-final.

That game will start at 1:30

The Grande Prairie Raiders will host St. Paul in the 9-a-side bantam Tier 1 final in the last game of the day.

It will start at 4:00 p.m.

Also on Saturday, Valleyview is in Drayton Valley for a 9-a-side high school football quarter final.

That game starts at 1:00 p.m.

Peace River has a bye and will play next week.
